After a huge 1st work party it was time to follow it up with more:
First of all, thanks to Jerry, Steve D, Crivello, Brad Conger, Jeff Bense for coming out and working the course pre install, and more.
Extra thanks to Jerry and Brad for sanding and clear coating railings and benches and the South most dock, a lot of work in a little time.
Jerry repainted the graffitie'd (is that a word?) do not block gate sign and it was mounted on the gate (except for one nut that fell in a gopher hole in just the right spot).
We got the N 55's subs in and Crivello installed a measured spacer bar we used before where the E one was ok but indeed the W anchor was 4" in too far so that one is on the spacer bar should be good.
We installed sub sliding floats at N gates then 4,5,6 gates and turns.
And then we discovered that the turn ball anchors at 1 and 2 (going N) have been in so much current they are secured by rebar into the ground but they are actually floating above the bottom, ie the rebar is supporting the anchors but water is flowing under the anchors. They have not moved but a good thing they were secured that way. 2 turn anchor is clear of the bottom 6-8".
We did not install hardware at the South most locations as you dry walk to them.
Put in berm markers there are now 3.
We feel confident we can get the remaining subs in easily when we know when the Pond will start filling.
Crivello reviewed a plan to move three posts to repair the fence- Scott Anger could you do this?
Jerry again made a Togo's run for lunch thanks Jerry.
Another great work day. Special thanks to Steve D for pre-fabing the sub floats and cables.
