Pond Update

• Power to the dam is ON and Valley Water has checked out all systems as of yesterday.

• Request for Safety of Dams to inspect the installation has gone in.

• When approved Valley Water intends to inflate the new dam. It could take 1-2 weeks to with current low flow conditions into the Pond.

• Work party Saturday 6/27 at 9AM

• We might want to hook up buoys as the pond slowly fills

Sergeant at Arms - Gordon Jensen

• There are new requirements for vessel inspection and certification for this year

• As of June 15 there are changes to the requirements;

• If a boat is registered out of SCC or has been launched out of county it has to pass inspection and then undergo 30 day quarantine prior to getting a SCCWSC band. Full details in SCCWSC Process.

• Gordon Jensen reviewed this Process with the updated documents – note that any violation shuts down the Pond for all.

• Insurance has to be on file with SCCWSC as additional insured.

• Dave is rekeying Gate locks and Sergeant-at-Arms will issue to boat owners as they meet updated process requirements.
